Thank you everyone who made the launch of "How to Start a Feminist Restaurant" successful!

On March 15, 2018, the head editor of the Historical Cooking Project, Alex Ketchum, spoke about her new book at Montreal's feminist bookstore, L'Euguélionne. The evening included a discussion of the history of feminist restaurants and cafes in the United States and Canada. Ketchum explained how her book spoke to the contemporary issues plaguing the restaurant industry such as discrimination in tipping culture, sexual harassment, and unequal access to capital.

For those who were unable to attend the event, more copies are available in Montreal at L'Euguélionne and online for $5.
