On Friday June 7th, our editor Dr. Alex Ketchum will be doing a reading from her booklet, "How to Start a Feminist Restaurant" at the world's oldest LGBTQ+ bookstore, Glad Day Bookshop in Toronto, Canada. She will also discuss the 7 years of historical research that informed the creation of this project.
During a time when much attention has been given to sexual harassment and labor issues in the restaurant industry, "How to Start a Feminist Restaurant" is a DIY/DIT guide for creating your own feminist restaurant, cafe, or coffeehouse.
